CIFL: Seadogs Blowout Hotshots, 33-3

SEATTLE-The Houston Hotshots fumbled the opening kickoff and went down from there as they fell to the Seattle Seadogs 33-3 in their opening CIFL contest.

Wallace Hinshaw fielded the opening kickoff and returned it 27 yards but fumbled, and Dwayne Crowson recovered for the Seadogs at the Houston 46-yard line. Six plays later, Curtis Kesterson threw a 5-yard touchdown pass to Eldron Calloway to give Seattle a 7-0 lead with 12:01 to go in the first quarter. After trading punts, Barney Brant was intercepted by Ranse Noland at the Hotshots 29-yard line.
