AFL Playoff Update

DES MOINES, IA-After the Dallas Desperados 30-3 win over the Iowa Barnstormers, coupled with the Milwaukee Mustangs 33-20 loss to the Chicago Rush, the Dallas Desperados have officially clinched the AFL's Central Division championship.

The Desperados, at 10-3 are three games up on the 7-6 Mustangs and hold a potential tiebreaker bsaed on division record (5-1 for Dallas vs. 3-3 for Milwaukee).

Meanwhile, the Detroit Drive (10-3) are two games ahead of the Grand Rapids Rampage (8-5) in the Eastern Division. The Georgia Force (8-5) are two games ahead of the Orlando Predators (6-7) in the Southern Division. The San Jose Sabercats could clinch the Western Division this week by beating the Arizona Rattlers and if the Colorado Crush lose to the Los Angeles Avengers.
